Corinne Miller and Adam Carroll are the best representation of "goals in a relationship," they both pretended marriage proposal just to get free drinks at a restaurant and their plan worked. The false marriage proposal occurred in July 2019, however, the story has gone viral in recent days.
True love can do everything
The couple only had a month of relationship when they traveled to Atlanta to celebrate Corinne's birthday with a romantic dinner, but restaurant menu prices were quite expensive, so to save money Adam pretended he was proposing to Corinne in front of other customers, getting free drinks and a discount.
The marriage proposal went so well, that they managed to fool all the people around, including the employees and even the restaurant manager, who went and congratulated them personally. The story does not end there. Seeing that their plan went as expected, they went to another bar where they made another marriage proposal and obtained more drinks, food and desserts for free.
The couple enjoyed the marriage proposal so much that six months later while they were at Adam's birthday party, he handed Corinne an engagement ring, it was a real one and now they are planning their wedding.
"We both have exactly the same sense of humor, that is one of the main components in our relationship. At that time people began to applaud us, buy us drinks and congratulate us, it was very funny and definitely a great way to get free food.”
“It has been a dizzying romance. We were best friends for eight years, and that trip to Atlanta was our first trip together. I'm glad I did it, we saved enough money so that Adam could get me a real engagement ring.”
