The Lumière brothers filmed the first movie in history in 1896 at a train station. The movie is known as 'L’arrivée d’un train à la Ciotat'. They used a photosensitive paper, and so they created the first visual document in history. Many people love this movie, but they can't enjoy it because the time in which the movie was recorded, they didn't have very good quality cameras.
Denis Shiryaev, is a youtuber who decided to take a lot of his time to turn this historic movie into something more modern, and so new generations can enjoy watching it in 4K and at 60 frames per second (FPS).
With the changes he made, now you can watch this short movie as if it were a recent movie.
What this person did could inspire others to do the same with historical visual documentaries. Maybe in a short time someone will be encouraged to recreate a historical documentary and modernize it.
