Maybe you think that people considered attractive are the most successful, or so say the movies, series and videos we see. The one who is considered attractive always has a luxury job. Instead, those who are not "attractive" get worse things.
After so many years believing this, an investigation comes to change everything, and shows that the physical aspect has nothing to do with how successful you are.
A study by researchers Satoshi Kanazawa and Mary Still for the journal of Business and Psychology was evaluating about 20 thousand 16-year-olds who were interviewed several times over a period of 13 years, they interviewed them until they turned 29. Each time that they were interviewed, the interviewer rated their physical appearance on a scale of "very attractive" to "unattractive ", the objective was to evaluate their salaries depending on their appearances.
The results of attractive people and their earnings are positive, but those who were rated less attractive at 29 were earning much more than those considered "beautiful."
Maybe you are wondering why? The people in charge of carrying out the study think that attractive people do not usually have a better reputation just for having a pretty face, if not for their personality, and intelligence.
After the study, they concluded that as long as you stay interesting, intelligent, and charismatic, being "ugly" doesn't matter. Anyway, you have the possibility to succeed, let's be honest, companies do not care about your physical but your skills.
