The UK is beginning to reopen its cities. Bristol is one of their most prosperous cities, it has many trees and flowers and also many activities to have a good time, such as its parks which have not received tourists lately.
To make their parks safe for their visitors, they decided to paint hearts on the grass, to make sure everyone respects social distancing. What people realized is that apart from being a security measure, it also gives a more romantic touch to the park. They are smart.
More than 224 hearts were painted by Upfest artists in Green Square, College Green and Castle Park.
Each heart is approximately 3 meters wide and 2 meters long, this is a perfect measure for two people to enter the heart. The idea of this project is to respect social distancing and prevent people from becoming infected.
Many people think that painting hearts on the grass is a bad idea, but others say it is what we have to get used to. It will have to be like this for a long time.
